    Seren sets the stars as watchfires on the walls of the world, and hangs the Sun and the twin moons, Ilun and Morrow.

    The going-down of the Kindlers. A drop of Orun’s fire lives: Ignaroth, the Wyrm Eternal, is born in the root.

The Elder Days

The firstborn peoples, the white towers and the deep halls, until the sea came up.

    The firstborn peoples wake: elves in Whisperwood, dwarves under Frostspire, trolls at Sunscar, minotaurs on the Stormreach, orcs on the eastern plains, the Tidekin in the sea.

  2. c. 7000 BC

    The elves raise Vaelmere of the Hundred Towers. The dwarves cut Hammerdeep, and swear the first oath: take heat, never take flame.

  3. c. 5200 BC

    A star goes out and its splinter falls into the southern sea. The Listeners build the Sanctum; the Order of the Hush begins the Lullaby.

  4. c. 3200 BC

    The Drowning. Aelthir silences the Choir; Vaelmere sinks in a night; the Sanctum falls into the trench; the Maw is born. Seraphel flees to Whisperwood.

    Seraphel builds the Mirrorhall. The gnomes leave Hammerdeep over a pump, and go up to the high places.

The Age of Ash

An archmage raises a tower to bind a dragon, and a kingdom burns.

    Vel'Thuran raises the Wyrmspire above Frostspire and binds the twins Solara and Nocturne into one soul. Grukk is hired, and paid a year in advance.

  2. 12 BC

    The Burning of Hammerdeep. Ignaroth comes up through the nine halls; the oath-stones crack; Thrain becomes the Ashen King. The Wyrm is bound to the tower, and the archmage to the Wyrm.

The Years of the Crown

Men come over the sea, a moon is eaten, the dead walk, and the peoples sign the Concord.
